Throughout the year we hold club-nights on the first Wednesday of each month which often feature guest speakers or similar entertainment. With the exception of January when we meet for lunch on the 1st day. We meet at the Round Oak, 100 Ounsdale Rd, Wombourne, Wolverhampton WV5 8BU, in the downstairs function room and the meetings usually start at 8pm. Our club-night in July is our "Ride a Bike Night" which starts earlier at 6:30. We welcome members old & new, also non VMCC members are welcome to attend to find out more about the VMCC and our section in particular.
From March to November we organise runs with various start venues around our area. The runs are normally a 10am assembly time for a 10:30am start. We supply a "tulip" style route sheet for our runs which means people can proceed at their own pace either on their own or with others. People who prefer can find someone to follow if they don't like or can't use the route sheets. Our runs are usually on more minor roads suited to a more leisurely pace. We ask all riders to contribute £2 when signing on at the start to help with organisational costs although most of it gets given to charity at the year end. Please join us for any of our runs.
We also organise some MId-Week ride ins, where riders make their own way to a chosen venue for a lunch time meet up. Food is usually involved.
